HISTORY OF THE UP PURVA SAINIK KALYAN NIGAM LIMITED :
UP Government issued orders to open "UP Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited" vide letter No 1002/48-87-1-11-2(8)/87 dated 3rd June 1987. The responsibility to establish Nigam was given to Brig SPS Shrikant, MVC (Retd), Director, Sainik Kalyan Evam Punarvas, UP. The authorized Share Capital Rs. 5 Crore was declared by the Government. However, Issued Share Capital of Rs. 42.54 lacs only was sanctioned by the government.
Brig BC Pathak (Retd) was appointed the first Managing Director of the Nigam and Nigam office was established at 46/1, Wazir Hasan Road, Lucknow. Initially ZSAs were nominated as Zila Prabandhak of UP Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Ltd.
Due to shortage of space at 46/1, Wazir Hasan Road the Nigam HQ office was shifted to 54X, Jopling Road, Lucknow.
After expansion of the Nigam business, HQ office was shifted to 113-114 B, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
Finally Nigam HQ Office was shifted from Gomti Nagar to its present location on 07 April 2007.
